EVENT MANAGEMENT - Exanza's Nik Barrie will be amongst those commenting on the future of the UK's small festivals on BBC 6 Music next week.
SOUTH WEST - The Comedy Festival in October was definitely a successful event for North Devon, drawing in extra visitors to the area and for three days injecting a chunk of Edinburgh Fringe into a corner of the South West.
The Lynton & Lynmouth Comedy Festival will be kicking off in a week's time for the first time in the idyllic and yet quirky North Devon coastal towns.
DEVON - There's only four days remaining until this year's LLAMA Festival, UK's Best Free Music Festival (- The Guardian) on the Devon coast.
Exanza is currently managing the Lynton & Lynmouth Comedy Festival, to be held on 15 - 17th October 2010.
The event will be held over a series of venues in the twin coastal towns and is intended to help add an extra boost to business trade in the area at an otherwise relatively quite time of the year.
The LLAMA Music Festival 2009 was undoubtably amongst the most successful yet with record breaking visitor numbers, stunning weather and the biggest number of artists performing to date over 16 venues. The three day event was headlined by Badly Drawn Boy and was described in the press as the preview event to Glastonbury.
Today marked the official launch of the 2009 North Devon Festival. This year's festival will be the biggest and best yet with more events than ever, many of which are free.
